The Flora 1000 mile challenge was first done in 1809 by Captain
Allardyce Barclay who covered one mile every hour non-stop
for 1,000 hours.
The Challenge
was started by Prince Andrew at 4pm on March 2nd and the 1000
miles finished at the start line of the Flora London Marathon
just after 8am on April 13th. Then the five remaining athletes
completed the London Marathon.
You can
read all about the challenge in my full diary of the event.
I will also be updating this page with my final thought of
the challenge over the course of the week but for now you
